Description

Codey Rocky is an interactive coding robot for children aged 6 and up that teaches STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) through fun, hands-on play. It combines hardware and software to introduce block-based programming (using mBlock 5) and Python, with built-in Wi-Fi for internet connectivity and AI and IoT applications like image and voice recognition. The two-part robot, consisting of a programmable “Codey” unit and a mobile “Rocky” chassis, can be expanded with LEGO bricks and Neuron parts.

Key features
  • Dual-programming environment:
Beginners can use the intuitive, drag-and-drop mBlock 5 software, which is based on Scratch, and then convert their code to Python to learn an advanced language.

  • AI and IoT integration:
The robot introduces concepts in artificial intelligence, such as image and voice recognition, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices through its Wi-Fi connectivity.

  • Modular design:
The robot is made of two parts that snap together—a mobile chassis and a programmable head—and is compatible with LEGO bricks and Makeblock Neuron parts for expanded creativity.

  • Built-in sensors and modules:
Equipped with over 10 electronic modules, it includes sensors for light, sound, and color, as well as an LED matrix display and speaker to create a variety of effects.

  • Comprehensive learning resources:
The product comes with tutorials, examples, and online support to guide children through coding, robotics, and creative projects.

  • Age-appropriate:
It is designed to be accessible for young beginners while providing a platform to grow into more advanced programming skills.
